Joshua Clevenger has racing in his blood. He attended his first race when he was only six weeks old. In 2003, when Joshua was eight years old, his family made a trip to Las Vegas that would forever change his life. Las Vegas is where they were introduced to NHRA Junior Drag Racing.   Josh began racing full time in 2005. In his first full season, Josh managed to rack up an impressive seven consecutive wins including the NHRA Jr. Dragster Challenge event at Sacramento Raceway, winning the 8-9 year old track Championship and basically sweeping the series. In 2006, Josh made the move up to the 10-12 year old category which proved to be a challenge. He was held to just one win but still made himself present in later rounds, finishing in the top 5 for his age division.  In 2007 Josh stepped up into a faster car, catching on quickly. Josh had several round wins enabling him to finish the season in second place for his age group. In 2009 Joshua stepped up to the highly competitive, faster 13-17 year old category. Outside of racing Joshua plays football for Oak Ridge High School and is involed in the El Dorado Hills Lacrosse League, clenching the Northern California Senior U-15 Division Championship in 2009.  He is currently the driver of  his family's blown alcohol dragster.
